Siete d\u00e9cadas de conflictos en una sola sala<\/h2>\n

El recorrido hist\u00f3rico<\/a> incluye im\u00e1genes de la guerra de Vietnam (1955\u20131975), que la curadora Martha Echeverr\u00eda describe como \u201cla primera guerra que vimos en vivo\u201d por ser el primer conflicto televisado de la historia.<\/p>\n

Entre las piezas del archivo figura la fotograf\u00eda de la \u201cni\u00f1a del Napalm\u201d (1972), cuya autor\u00eda sigue en disputa seg\u00fan la organizaci\u00f3n, tras la controversia en que estuvo envuelta en 2025.<\/p>\n

Para Echeverr\u00eda, la exposici\u00f3n demuestra que durante las \u00faltimas siete d\u00e9cadas el mundo ha estado marcado por \u201cguerras, conflictos, crisis de salud y migraciones\u201d, realidades que el fotoperiodismo ha documentado y de las que las nuevas generaciones de fot\u00f3grafos contin\u00faan aprendiendo.<\/p>\n

La imagen que encabeza la edici\u00f3n 2026 es obra de la fot\u00f3grafa estadounidense Carol Guzy<\/b> (Pennsylvania, 1956). Capta el instante en que una familia migrante es separada por agentes del Servicio de Inmigraci\u00f3n y Control de Aduanas (ICE) en Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

La fotograf\u00eda, titulada Separados por el ICE, refleja uno de los temas que atraviesa toda la muestra: la crisis migratoria que escala en la frontera entre M\u00e9xico y Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

Entre los dem\u00e1s temas abordados en la selecci\u00f3n 2026 se encuentran el abuso policial en sociedades democr\u00e1ticas, la crisis humanitaria en Gaza y Ucrania, y los desaf\u00edos ambientales.<\/p>\n

C\u00e9sar Rodr\u00edguez<\/b>, fot\u00f3grafo nacido en Tepic en 1983, gan\u00f3 la categor\u00eda Norteam\u00e9rica y Centroam\u00e9rica con su proyecto M\u00e9xico, un clima cambiante. Con una c\u00e1mara Olympus de segunda mano, document\u00f3 el costo humano del aumento de desastres naturales en distintos estados del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

El World Press Photo<\/b> es el certamen de fotoperiodismo m\u00e1s reconocido del mundo y su edici\u00f3n 2026 recibi\u00f3 57.376 im\u00e1genes de participantes de 141 pa\u00edses. Rodr\u00edguez lleva cerca de una d\u00e9cada cubriendo la crisis ambiental y sostiene que la c\u00e1mara permite observar el futuro inmediato.<\/p>\n

El museo se ubica en Av. Hidalgo 45, Centro Hist\u00f3rico<\/b>, frente a la Alameda Central, en la Plaza de Santa Veracruz. Abre de martes a domingo de 10:00 a 17:00 h; los lunes permanece cerrado.<\/p>\n

La opci\u00f3n m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida es el metro L\u00ednea 2<\/b>, con bajada en la estaci\u00f3n Bellas Artes<\/b>, a 49 metros del acceso principal (2 min a pie). Tambi\u00e9n operan las l\u00edneas 3 y 8 con paradas cercanas, y el Metrob\u00fas con parada hom\u00f3nima en Bellas Artes.<\/p>\n

El Turibus<\/b> tiene parada en el n\u00famero 11 del Circuito Centro. Los autobuses urbanos de las rutas 1, 4, 16A, 108, 178, 223 y Ruta 22 cuentan con bajadas a 2 min a pie del museo.
