Un sismo de 4.0 de magnitud <\/strong>se registr\u00f3 en el municipio de Las Choapas<\/strong> ubicado en Veracruz<\/strong>, seg\u00fan inform\u00f3 el Servicio Sismol\u00f3gico Nacional (SSN)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Informaci\u00f3n oficial preliminar se\u00f1ala que el movimiento tel\u00farico ocurri\u00f3 a las 23:02 horas de este 14 de mayo a 71 km al suroeste de la ciudad y tuvo una profundidad de 151.1 km.<\/p>\n

La zona exacta donde ocurri\u00f3 el terremoto se ubica en las coordenadas 17.337 grados de latitud y -94.39 grados de longitud.<\/p>\n

Hasta el momento, autoridades no han informado sobre alg\u00fan da\u00f1o ocasionado por el sismo registrado. Sin embargo, es importante mantenerse informado mediante canales oficiales ante alguna actualizaci\u00f3n o medida tomada al respecto.<\/p>\n

La informaci\u00f3n anunciada por la SSN es preliminar, por lo que los datos del sismo reportado puede ser actualizados por las autoridades posteriormente y cambiar a la ya publicada.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s es importante se\u00f1alar que los sismos no se pueden predecir. No existe ning\u00fan m\u00e9todo o tecnolog\u00eda actual que permita saber cu\u00e1ndo pasar\u00e1 un movimiento tel\u00farico, explica el SSN.<\/p>\n

Nuestro pa\u00eds se encuentra en un contexto tect\u00f3nico en el cual se registran decenas de sismos diariamente, sin embargo, en la gran mayor\u00eda de los casos son de baja magnitud por lo que resultan imperceptibles.<\/p>\n

Ante una actividad s\u00edsmica significativa, el Centro Nacional de Prevenci\u00f3n de Desastres (Cenapred) <\/strong>exhorta a no caer en rumores, ni noticias falsas y solo informarse en fuentes oficiales, como las autoridades de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, tanto locales y estatales, as\u00ed como federales.<\/p>\n

Tras un sismo, revisa tu casa en b\u00fasqueda de posibles da\u00f1os, utiliza tu celular solo en caso de emergencia, no enciendas cerillos o velas hasta asegurarte que no hay alguna fuga de gas y recuerda que se pueden presentar r\u00e9plicas del sismo, por lo que es importante permanecer alerta.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n puedes seguir las siguientes medidas antes de un sismo: prepara un plan de protecci\u00f3n civil, participa en simulacros de evacuaci\u00f3n, identifica las zonas de seguridad en casa, escuela o lugar de trabajo y prepara una mochila de emergencia.<\/p>\n

Durante un movimiento tel\u00farico conserva la calma y qu\u00e9date en runa zona de seguridad, al\u00e9jate de objetos que puedan caer; si est\u00e1s en un transporte, estaci\u00f3nate y al\u00e9jate de edificios, \u00e1rboles y postes; y si te encuentras en la costa, al\u00e9jate de la playa y ref\u00fagiate en zonas altas.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 hacer en caso de sismo?<\/h2>\n

En muchas ocasiones, cuando ocurre un temblor, es com\u00fan que se lance la pregunta de \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 no son\u00f3 la alerta s\u00edsmica?<\/strong> Es decir, ese sonido que advierte que se viene un movimiento tel\u00farico lo que en muchas ocasiones da tiempo a la ciudadan\u00eda de resguardarse en un lugar seguro.<\/p>\n

No siempre que ocurra un temblor se activa la alerta s\u00edsmica, sino que depende de varios factores. <\/p>\n

Su funcionamiento depende de una red de sensores<\/strong> que, al detectar un sismo fuerte, emite una se\u00f1al<\/strong> que utiliza ondas de radio, para alertar a las ciudades<\/strong> que tienen esta cobertura, con un tiempo variable de anticipaci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n

Son 96 los sensores<\/strong> de la alerta s\u00edsmica instalados desde Bah\u00eda de Banderas, en Jalisco, hasta el Istmo de Tehuantepec, incluyendo la regi\u00f3n del Alto Balsas, en Guerrero, el sur de Puebla, as\u00ed como el centro y norte de Oaxaca. <\/p>\n

La cobertura de la alerta s\u00edsmica<\/strong> llega a ocho ciudades<\/strong> del pa\u00eds: Guadalajara<\/strong>, en Jalisco; Acapulco y Chilpancingo<\/strong>, en Guerrero; Morelia<\/strong>, en Michoac\u00e1n, as\u00ed como la ciudades capitales de Puebla, Colima, Oaxaca<\/strong> y, evidentemente, la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Es muy importante tener presente que si un temblor ocurre fuera de la zona de cobertura, el sistema no alertar\u00e1. Tambi\u00e9n que si el sismo sucede con epicentro cercano a alguna de las ciudades consideradas, el aviso podr\u00eda llegar igual que las ondas s\u00edsmicas. <\/p>\n

Es el Centro de Instrumentaci\u00f3n y Registro S\u00edsmico, (Cires) la instituci\u00f3n que opera la Alerta S\u00edsmica.<\/p>\n

Movimientos s\u00edsmicos en M\u00e9xico<\/h2>\n

M\u00e9xico est\u00e1 en constante riesgo de vivir un sismo de gran magnitud, como los sucedidos en 1985 y 2017, movimientos que provocaron varias desgracias en su haber. Y a pesar de ser los m\u00e1s recordados, no han sido los de mayor magnitud en el territorio.<\/p>\n

El terremoto m\u00e1s fuerte registrado en la historia de M\u00e9xico ocurri\u00f3 el 28 de marzo de 1787 con epicentro en Oaxaca<\/strong> y tuvo una magnitud de 8.6.<\/strong> Lo cual no solamente logr\u00f3 que la tierra vibrara, sino que provoc\u00f3 un tsunami<\/strong> de 6 kil\u00f3metros tierra adentro.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan un estudio del Centro de Instrumentaci\u00f3n y Registro S\u00edsmico (Cires)<\/strong> realizado en 2009, sobre el sismo del 28 de marzo de 1787 sugiere que grandes terremotos con magnitudes de 8.6 o mayores podr\u00edan ocurrir en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os<\/strong> teniendo como epicentro las costas de M\u00e9xico y Centroam\u00e9rica, por estar ubicados en la Brecha de Guerrero<\/strong> que acumula una gran cantidad de energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Temblores como el de ese traen a la memoria de los mexicanos los peores recuerdos de 1985 y 2017, cuando toda Ciudad de M\u00e9xico se paraliz\u00f3<\/strong> ante las impactantes consecuencias que dej\u00f3 cada uno.<\/p>\n

El del 19 de septiembre de 1985 ocurri\u00f3 a las 7:19 horas locales con una magnitud de 8.2<\/strong> y con epicentro en el estado de Guerrero. Desde ese terremoto muchos pensaron que algo as\u00ed no se repetir\u00eda. Pero ocurri\u00f3 de nuevo 32 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

El del 2017 se registr\u00f3 a las 13:14 horas<\/strong> locales con epicentro en los l\u00edmites de los estados de Puebla y Morelos y dej\u00f3 un saldo de 369 muertes en el centro del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
